Richard Baalke was born 29 November 1877 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, son of Johann H. Baalke and Maria Dorothea Blum. (Sheboygan County Births, Volume 18, Page 347.)

He moved to California and lost touch with his brothers and sisters.

Richard Baalke died in 1969 at San Francisco, California.
