Mathias Kalchthaler, aged 67 years, 5 months and 14 days, passed away Saturday afternoon at 1:30 'clock at the family residence, 1238 Lincoln avenue.

Mr. Mathias [sic] was born in Germany, September 12, 1853 and came to Sheboygan in 1875, having resided here since.

The survivors are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Clara Ploetz, this city; two sons, Joseph Kalchthaler, this city and Rudolph Kalchthaler, Chicago, and seven grandchildren. A daughter preceded him in death at the age of five months.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from Holy Name church, the Rev. D. F. Thill officiating. Interment will be made in the North Side Catholic cemetery and R. H. Kroos will direct the funeral.
