Johanna (Baalke) Kruschke

Is Called To Rest Here Early Today Mrs. Johanna Kruschke, 73, of 1504 Illinois avenue, passed away this morning at the Memorial hospital. Born Oct. 16, 1872, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John Baalke of this city, she attended the public schools here and was married to Fred Kruschke of this city 56 years ago. Her husband passed away six years ago. Mrs. Kruschke was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church and of the Ladies' Aid society of the church. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Esther Ness, of Lynwood, Cal.; two sons, Gordon E. of Milwaukee and Melvin of Chicago; two brothers, Richard of California and Oscar of this city; five sisters, Mrs. Frank (Elizabeth) Conners of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Charles (Emma) Weiner, Mrs. Herman (Lulu) Miller and Mrs. Michael (Hulda) Biwerse of Milwaukee, and Mrs. William (Anna) Kleist of this city; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p. m. at the Robert H. Kroos Funeral home and at 2 o'clock at the Immanuel Lutheran church, the Rev. Edward Krause officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Sunday afternoon. |
