Meta E. Krueger, 91, formerly of 1628 N. 12th St., died Monday, March 18, 1996 at Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Center.

Born Aug. 22, 1904 in Sheboygan, Meta was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Kleist Grande.

On April 12, 1924, she was united in marriage to Herman "Dunbar" Krueger in Sheboygan. Herman preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1977.

Meta was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Carl Jetzer, Sheboygan;l two grandsons, Dr. Thomas (Carol) Jetzer, Independence, Minn.; Lawrence (Kristie) Jetzer, Shorewood, Minn.; one great-grandson, Kristian Jetzer, other relatives and friends. Meta was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 23, at Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. The Rev. Steve Perry, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home, on Saturday, from 9 a.m., until the time of services.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
